Angel Strings merge the divine majesty of the outer universe with sublime string quartet repertoire. Performing works by Philip Glass, Ravel, Max Richter, Karl Jenkins and Elgar, expect your breath to be taken away.

The planetarium’s unique setting features 16m domed ceilings, reclining seats, a 7.1 surround sound system and full-dome video projection. Coupled with lush live music, the immersion is nothing short of transcendent.

About Angel Strings

Angel Strings is a string quartet crazy about classical, jazz and pop music. They have a unique ability to connect with a wide audience, having played at the Brisbane City Hall opening, the Melbourne Crown Casino, with Guy Sebastian in Vanuatu and with Archie Roach at the Woodford Folk Festival. They’ve also been heard by tens of thousands as part of the Candlelight Concerts series.

Professionally trained musicians with national and international experience, individual ‘Angels’ have performed with the Queensland and Melbourne Symphony Orchestras, Queensland Theatre, Opera Queensland and Opera Victoria. They’ve shared the stage with Nigel Kennedy, Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Kanye West, Eminem and William Barton. They've somehow also featured in Dubai fashion magazine ‘Mojeh’!
