All bookings are by VISA or Mastercard credit/debit card only and attract a $5.50 fee per transaction (not per ticket). Transactions where only free tickets are booked to do not attract a booking fee.

Any discounted ticket offer only applies to the ticket price, not the booking fee.

Any ticket purchases and all booking fees are inclusive of GST, where applicable.

We don’t offer refunds except as required by law, in accordance with the Live Performance Australia (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice.

Gather your mates, your mum, your mates’ mums and your mums’ mates! Some events offer discounts when you book in bulk.

Previews
Preview prices are available for some events – the artists get to test their work and you, the guinea pig, get a cheaper ticket.

Hump Days
Many events offer a special ticket price for Wednesday shows.

Extra Applause
Want to show an artist some extra love? Select this ticket and you’ll be sending some extra cash – and applause – directly to them.

Concession and Companion Cards
You qualify for concession prices if you have one (or more) of the following:

• Student Card (full time)
• MEAA Membership Card
• Carer Card
• Health Care Card
• Pension Card
• Veteran Affairs Card
• All government issued Seniors Cards

You may be asked to show your valid concession card when purchasing or collecting your tickets and/or on entering the venue. If you have a Companion Card, your companion can come free. Please call our ticketing team on (03) 9660 9666 or email them on boxoffice@melbournefringe.com.au to book.

Child
Those aged 16 years and under, where available. If no child price applies, humans aged 16 years and under are entitled to concession prices. Remember – children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and make sure you check the content warnings and age rating.

Babes-In-Arms
Unless otherwise specified, children under the age of two do not need a ticket. Please note, this means children will need to sit on your lap (for in-person events) as they will not have a seat. Please be mindful of the show’s content when taking along a small child. Please note, babes-in-arms are not allowed entry to any events that are specified 18+.

Content warnings and event classifications are listed on each event’s listing and are provided by the event’s producer. When you book or attend an event as part of Melbourne Fringe Festival, please ensure you’ve read the content warnings and event classifications and that they are suitable for everyone attending/viewing with you.

• G: Suitable for all ages (No legal restrictions)
• PG: Parental Guidance Recommended (No legal restrictions, but parents are encouraged to assess the suitability of material for younger viewers)
• M: Mature Audience Recommended (Not recommended for viewers under 15 years old, but no legal restrictions apply)
• MA 15+: Mature Audiences Only (Not suitable for viewers under 15 years old. Viewers under 15 cannot legally watch unless accompanied by a parent or adult guardian)
• R 18+: Restricted to Adults (Not suitable for viewers under 18 years old. Viewers under 18 cannot legally watch even if with a parent or adult guardian)
