It's comedy, it's music, it's a dance party. They're on a mission to create something from nothing, each show is a new jam, culminating in an album launch on closing night!

'The "Wham, Bam, Thank You" Jam' is a three-week endeavour to create an album one show at a time. Nothing gets the creative juices flowing like a fast approaching deadline. With that in mind, each show will be completely different, as the band create jam after jam hoping to strike gold. Some jams will make the album, whilst others will never be heard again.

Blake Everett leads the jam alongside Harrison Lane. The multi-instrumentalists last performed together in the GTA-inspired 'Video Games Made My Son Like Country Music', which was nominated for Best Music at last year's Melbourne Fringe.

    The Cabaret Stage is upstairs and not wheelchair accessible.
    Wheelchair users enter at the main entrance. All downstairs spaces, including the bar, are accessible.
    There is on-street parking nearby for permit holders but no reserved accessible parking.
    There are accessible toilets downstairs at this venue, but not upstairs.

    John Curtin Hotel is a very old building. The band room is upstairs. There is no lift. The downstairs public bar which has food and hosts DJs is accessible. Companion Cardholders receive free entry to all shows. Our staff have attended training with Bandmates. Please let our staff know if you would like any assistance during the night.

    Wheelchair Access

    Festival Hub: Trades Hall - Common Rooms is wheelchair accessible. The entrance to the venue is on Lygon St. You can head up the front stairs and through the main doors, from there head right to get to the Loading Dock. If you need step-free access, head to the driveway located on the left-hand side of the main entrance on Lygon Street. The driveway will lead you into the courtyard. From the courtyard, there will be a lift on your right. Head to the first floor and turn right. The common rooms will be on your left.   Volunteers will be available along the route to assist you if needed. Please don't hesitate to ask for help.
