K Mak at the Planetarium

Artpop journey through the cosmos.

Musicians sit below a dark, starlit cosmos projected on the domed planetarium ceiling, their faces and instruments (cello, drums... ) aglow from the iPad screens they are reading from. Above them blue, aqua and green graphics emerge from the image of a moon, creating a giant jelly-fish like effect across the night sky.

Following sell-out seasons in Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne 2023, K Mak returns to the Melbourne Fringe.

Weaving cello, violin, synths, beats and vocals into lush, cinematic soundscapes, her four piece band ushers you through the cosmos with sumptuous tailored visuals.
