K Mak at the Planetarium

Artpop journey through the cosmos.

The image shows a cello appearing to explode in space, as a bow srikes its stringes. The cello is amidst fiery flames, the sparkling cosmos - where we see dark gas clouds and distant star systems resting on a magenta background.
Musicians sit below a dark, starlit cosmos projected on the domed planetarium ceiling, their faces and instruments (cello, drums... ) aglow from the iPad screens they are reading from. Above them blue, aqua and green graphics emerge from the image of a moon, creating a giant jelly-fish like effect across the night sky.
Musicians sit in a dark planetarium, their faces aglow from the iPad screens they are reading from. Above them, purple, pink and blue graphic datelines curves over them, outlining the domed ceiling.
