Temperance Hall

Temperance Hall is the Australian amplifier of queer experimental dance, performance and art, and home to contemporary dance company Phillip Adams BalletLab. From the heritage listed building on Boonwurrung Country in South Melbourne, we celebrate fearless artistic expression through a diverse program of performances, festival events, workshops, exhibitions and residencies. We are a micro arts organisation making an outsized impact; challenging and deepening conversations around dance and contemporary arts culture by persistently championing artistic non-compliance and artform reinvention.
