Gasworks Arts Park - Gasworks Theatre

The Gasworks Theatre is a black box performance space with a flat, sprung floor and a raked seating bank. With a uniquely adjustable seating bank, we accommodate a range of seating capacities with varied stage dimensions. The performance area varies depending on the retraction of the seating bank. These include:
- no seats: 21.4m x 16.8m
- 1/2 capacity: 158 seats with 9m x 12m stage depth
- 3/4 capacity: 198 seats with 7.5m x 12m stage depth
- Full capacity: 240 seats with 7m x 12m stage depth

Height from from stage floor to LX Bars: 6m
Height from stage floor to aerial rig: 6.7m

The Theatre can also accommodate cabaret-style seating for up to 50 patrons, around 10 tables, situated in front of the seating bank (total audience numbers remain at 192 for this set up).
Features include standard rig with multiple rigging points as well an an aerial (both subject to approval). Additional features include: stage drapes, 70000 Lumen Projector, Cyc, a black traveler, and fully equipped lighting rig. The bio box is positioned at the back of the seating bank and both sound and lighting can be operated from this position.
