Chunky Move is based in our purpose built dance studios in Southbank. Our building, situated in the heart of Melbourne’s arts precinct, was designed by award-winning architects Wood Marsh and is one of the most distinctive and recognisable buildings on the Melbourne landscape.

    Chunky Move is fully wheelchair accessible via a lift at the main entrance, with a wheelchair accessible RH bathroom.

    Chunky Move shares its address with ACCA (Australian Centre of Contemporary Art). The building exterior is angled and sculptural, distinct for its brown rusted vertically panelled walls.

    Our entrance is located on the north side of the Malthouse Theatre courtyard. Look for the the silver lettering above eye level.
