You (and everyone you know) are invited to Melbourne's most exclusive event - The Met(ric Tonne of Waste) Gala.

Local art collective Fast Fashun is hosting the city's very own fashion spectacular featuring a tonne of clothing waste, a bunch of safety pins, and you.

Come along and rummage through the piles of clothing waste and make something to wear on the runway. You are also welcome to just come along and watch the chaos unfold.

All ages and abilities are welcome and artists and designers will be on hand to help. No experience necessary, and if you can operate a safety pin then you're halfway there.

Children are welcome, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The venue is wheelchair accessible.
Air filters on site.
Quieter space available.
Free.
No need to book, just show up.
