COVID Safety
Melbourne Fringe continues to take the safety of all our audiences, artists and staff at the Festival. We have a detailed COVID-Safe plan which we are always adapting and refining in response to the evolution of the pandemic. Please follow the instructions of event staff and adhere to the following principles while attending. And remember, our staff are there to keep your safe, so please be nice!

Although government vaccine mandates for patrons are no longer in place, we still strongly recommend that only patrons who are up to date with their COVID-19 vaccines or are medically exempt attend events at the Festival.
Wash your hands after touching surfaces and apply hand sanitiser liberally.
We recommend wearing a mask when you are unable to physically distance from other humans. Surgical masks are available at the venue, please ask our friendly staff if you would like one.
If your RAT is positive, don’t let Covid scupper your plans. Reach out to our friendly box office team before your event and we can:
- Exchange – change your tickets to a different session
- Donate – can’t change your session? You can gift your tickets to the artist (trust us, they’ll appreciate it)
- Refund – failing option 1 and 2, we will happily refund those tickets if you tell us in writing
