The MUST Space

The MUST Space is a black box theatre space. It's home base for Monash Uni Student Theatre (MUST) an engine room of creativity and a department of the Monash Student Association (MSA) that creates vibrant, innovative theatre by and with Monash students, for everybody.
Works are diverse, ranging from new text-based and devised pieces to bold adaptations; from large-scale immersive work to intimate experiments, events.

The MUST Space is heavily booked an thus only available for external hire on occasion and by negotiation depending on artists' needs. We prioritise current Monash students and Alumni for bookings

It is located at the Monash University Clayton Campus, on the ground floor of The Campus Centre. In the evenings, free parking is available, but it can be hard to find your way around Monash, so clear directions are recommended. Monash Clayton is approximately 20kms from the CBD.

As a black box, The MUST Space can be set up a large number of ways: end on, traverse, thrust.... The space is very well equipped for sound and lighting and audio visual equipment.
