The Motley Bauhaus - Cabaret Stage

The Motley Bauhaus is a multidisciplinary arts venue in Fitzroy North.
Focused on promoting skill based arts, our aim is to give artists a place to play, experiment and have fun, whilst working hard to improve their craft.
The Motley Cabaret Stage is a versatile space on the first floor. It's a more open setup than the blackbox downstairs and comes with its own dedicated bar.
It is suitable for standup, music, burlesque, presentations and of course cabaret.
It seats up to 58 people with a front on seating arrangement, or you can set up two rows of tables and some end on seating for a reduced capacity of 40. Or we can remove all the stairs for a standing gig, for that you can get 100-150.
The Motley Bauhaus is a versatile and unique art, craft, performance space, and bar. With gallery space, a workshop area, intimate theatre, podcasting booth, bar and working artist studio we are providing a meeting and working space for artists, art lovers and lovers of artists.
