Fed Square - Amphitheatre

Opposite the St. Paul’s Cathedral and right next door to the densest foot traffic in all of Fed Square, the Flinders St Amphitheatre is a marvel of ingenious sound design. Inspired by the amphitheatres of Rome and Greece, sound is captured and amplified within the amphitheatre, and yet blocked as if by magic from Flinders St next door.

  • Wheelchair Accessible

Fed Square - Amphitheatre is wheelchair accessible.

The undulating surface of the The Square is made up of sandstone cobblestones, with a marked access path.
