Abbotsford Convent - Industrial School

This room is multipurpose, and audience capacity is subject to the setup chosen by the hirer. While the capacity number below reflects the absolute maximum number of people that can fit in these dimensions, this may not be the ideal number for your event. Please speak with the Convent team about your event requirements and a more appropriate capacity that caters to this setup.

The Industrial School is an incredibly versatile and open space, filled with natural light. Designed and built in 1868, the Industrial School is the oldest surviving building within the Convent grounds, and features a central partition, which can be used to divide the space in two distinct halves. Whether it’s for rehearsals, performances, markets, meetings, workshops or events, the Industrial School provides a truly unique space.
