Why become a Melbourne Fringe volunteer?

Ok, so where do I start? Becoming a volunteer is the best way to join the Fringe Family and this is one giant family tree. Each year, our vollies help us support independent artists by pulling together the Festival, you guys are the glue! If you’d love to be involved, volunteering enables you to learn the ins and outs of the Festival and is ridiculously fun.

Melbourne Fringe is a place for everyone. We love you just the way you are. If you speak English as the second language, come and join us. If you identify as LBGTI or queer, come and join us. If you identify as…you get the point. We are here to challenge perceptions and shake up the hierarchy, to explore the boundaries of art and to change the way you see the world. And we need you.

And of course, in return to your hard work, we offer a fab Fringe t-shirt, opportunities to see shows for free and an invitation to a VIP volunteers and staff party.
