Trying to be eco-conscious when making art can feel overwhelming. But it doesn't have to! What if sustainability could be an integrated part of your practice, that opened up new opportunities for creativity and collaboration?

Join Sustainable Theatres Australia (STA) for an interactive and low-impact workshop designed for emerging makers and performers who are passionate (or even just a little curious) about how they can 'green' their art. You'll get the chance to:

- Unpack loads of sustainable tips and tricks that you can easily incorporate into your upcoming work
- Explore the fundamental relationship between sustainability and creativity
- Challenge some pesky industry paradigms and unpack how community and sustainability-centric approaches can strengthen your creative practice

This workshop will be a space for questioning, imagining, and building better ways of making theatre – together. Whether you're developing your first solo show, remounting an existing work, or working on your company's magnum opus, you'll leave with practical tools, fresh inspiration, and a supportive network of peers.

Sustainable Theatres Australia (STA) is a support hub for the independent theatre sector, connecting artists with useful tools, information, and resources. STA promotes environmentally sustainable practices across the full life cycle of theatre projects and aims to lower barriers for artists to begin or deepen their sustainability journey.
