A young straight couple relocate to Tasmania’s idyllic Huon river to raise their child on a houseboat.

But the life they imagined is about to be upended by the ever encroaching natural world and the arrival of a strange local - who is, unbeknownst to them, a shapeshifting water rat.

‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf’ meets ‘Wolf Creek’.

Performed by Lily Fish, John Shearman, and Veronica Thomas.
Written by Alex Duncan.
Directed by Alice Darling.

This is new indie theatre at its best.

"Lily Fish is a phenomenon. She is astonishing. She is a comedienne, a mime, an acrobat and a chameleon." - Stage Whispers
