Performed by: Ari Angkasa and Margot Morales
Hosted by: Narit Kimsat (Earth Angels)
Presented by: Melbourne Fringe and Fed Square
Hot Nights see artists and chefs take over the COOKED public BBQ for an evening of performance and hot salty snacks. Ari Angkasa’s Suspicious Fish is a live TV soap and variety show, steamed with heady, hilarious, familiar and iconic flavours. The show brings together Angkasa’s influences from dinners spent in the glow of Indonesian soap operas and the chatter of ever entertaining variety shows. Ari Angkasa’s Suspicious Fish elevates the lazy late week Mi Goreng dinner to suspicious heights, excavating what good taste is and who gets to filet it. Alongside Angkasa as host will be Earth Angel’s Narit Kimsat on the grill and a star-studded guest list of Naarm’s finest performers. Come along, you won’t want to change the channel, not that you can. Tickets secure a snack on entry, live music and a performance plated for a BBQ stage. This event occurs within the COOKED public BBQ space designed by Mikhail Savin Rodrick Projects and Long Prawn, with BBQ designed and built by Mike Hewson.
Let's be pen pals! Stay up to date with all things upcoming events, festival goss and, of course, cheeky giveaways.
