This world of mine moves quickly, so fast I can’t see clear
The changing shapes are blurring, through every forming tear.
I keep on running faster, I cannot feel my feet
I know this feeling comes before a tumbling retreat
At first my toes get tired, and cannot lift up high
My knees will try to carry them, despite their drooping eyes
With every melting step, I fall a little deeper
Into my tiny hideaway behind my glassy peepers.
