  • Commissioned by: Melbourne Fringe through the Independent Venue Commission and supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria and City of Yarra

Zap Exhibitions is proud to announce the third volume of ARISE, an annual exhibition catered to showcasing the artistic talents of emerging artists from across Naarm!

The reason for this exhibition is simple - there are not enough opportunities for emerging artists to exhibit their works in the present art ecology of Naarm. By supporting this exhibition, you are democratising the arts and empowering emerging artists to continue being creative.

For those daring enough to delve further into the experience, each Friday night the exhibition will come alive with an array of live performances including dance, music, DJ's, drag, cabaret, performance art and other immersive surprises! There will be lots of food and drink available to purchase on the night. Please note that Friday nights are ticketed events.

The Exhibition running from 10am – 5pm are suitable for families; the Friday performances are suitable for 15+.

Reviews:
"What a way to kick off a beautifully curated exhibition that brought together artists across Melbourne and aimed to highlight and showcase the significance of various art forms that make the fabric of our broader Naarm community" ★★★★★ - Connection Arts Space
