CT220, a manufactured human, finds themselves in the Void, on a rug, scared and alone. They hear a voice calling out from the darkness, and in seeking to find the source of it they are forced off the safety of the rug.

In search of another rug, CT220 embarks on a journey through light and dark, doors and escalators, eventually discovering an underworld where they meet CM300, another manufactured human.

As CM300 guides CT220 in the ways of existing in this underworld, CT220 realises this place is not all it seems to be, and escapes.
