The RE-Generation International Youth Film Festival is an annual event that showcases over 50 short films across the 4 categories of Animation, Documentaries, Live Action and Music Videos. This unique film fest provides a rare platform for the work of young creatives to be seen and appreciated alongside multi-award-winning cinematographers and animators from around the world. The curation is chosen to ensure a wonderful family experience that will send you home feeling uplifted and inspired!

Where do we go after the ‘Z Generation’? The RE-Generation – the RESILIENT & EMPOWERED generation - who are taking on greater challenges than all the previous generations of humanity. RIYFF has a particular focus on films created for young people, by young people, that address contemporary issues through innovating storytelling. The core aim of this film festival is to encourage our young generation to engage with important social, environmental, and cultural issues through positive, thought-provoking and solution-focused content, which promotes a sense of resilience and empowerment.

Bring the whole family to the 4th RE-Generation International Youth Film Festival – there are 5 different program sessions for everyone to enjoy, from preschoolers to grandparents! Each session concludes with a Q&A with filmmakers.
Session 1 - 10:15am 'Specially for Kids' is a wonderful animated program curated for younger children
Session 2 - 12:15pm Family-friendly program of short animations, documentaries, live action and music videos (curation 1)
Session 3 - 2:15pm Family-friendly program of short animations, documentaries, live action and music videos (curation 2)
Session 4 - 4:15pm Family-friendly program of short animations, documentaries, live action and music videos (curation 3)
Session 5 - 6:30pm 'RIYFF Bests Shorts of 2024' Awards Presentation Evening and the Best of the Best special curation, along with Q&As
A special RIYFF '24 pass is available for the whole day / evening

The RE-Generation International Youth Film Festival aims is to inspire and motivate our young generation with short films that focus on positive solutions for creating the world we all wish to live in, and to mentor and encourage young filmmakers in the production of powerful, solution-based content that focuses on resilience, empowerment and aspiration across any topic.
