Come to the new public BBQ space at Fed Square for a First Nations grill up and smoke out.

The oldest continuously grilling culture lights up the BBQ for a night of smoke, dance, DJs, art and mad feeds.

The opening event for COOKED and the 2024 Melbourne Fringe Festival. A deadly combination of traditional and contemporary First Nations-led saucy performance art and food.

Open to the public, all welcome, free entry, cheap food and drinks.

This event occurs within the COOKED public BBQ space designed by Mikhail Savin Rodrick Projects and Long Prawn, with BBQ designed and built by Mike Hewson.

COOKED has been commissioned with Principal Partner support from the Naomi Milgrom Foundation. This project received Cash to Create through the Fringe Fund.
