For as long as humans have spoken, we have told each other tales.

Where You Were fuses individual history with mythic past in a concise 10-minute exploration of the transformative nature of stories. Inspired by the magic of human connection, it is a unique theatrical experience created by theatremakers Eidann Glover and Oliver Cowen.

Enter into a liminal space of warmth and wonder as you choose to drift into cosy reminiscence or traverse a distant fable, creating a captivating tale with all the nostalgia and excitement of your favourite bedtime story.

In Where You Were, you are gently invited to an intimate meander through the worlds of past and possibility.

    Wheelchair Access

    Festival Hub: Trades Hall - The Temple is wheelchair accessible. The entrance to the venue is on Lygon St. You can head up the front stairs and through the main doors, from there head right to get to the Loading Dock. If you need step free access, there is lift at the front of the building and our team will be able to guide you from there to the Loading Dock. Once you're in the Loading Dock you can head west and through the corridor to the stairs, and up past the ETU Ballroom and Common Rooms. Continue on and then head down the corridor to your right and you will find The Temple. There is also a lift if you are unable to take the stairs.
