A man in a red blazer and black bow tie delicately holds a tea cup and saucer in front of an orange background as an outrageous party is in full swing behind him. The four people behind him are holding streamers and party poppers, and the scene is filled with orange and blue balloons.

You are invited to Tea Party!

Dive into an immersive performance that turns the traditional tea party on its head. Let the Rollercoaster Theatre ensemble of neurodivergent performers and actors with intellectual disabilities guide you through a comedic exploration that challenges unspoken norms and expectations.

Savour a sweet selection of the absurd with a side dish of hilarity. Piping hot tea will be served and spilled as our actors envelop you in a world where nothing is as it seems. Choose to join the 'Tea Party!' as an active participant or be a fly on the wall and watch the magic unfold.

'Tea Party!' shines a light on the ridiculousness of social conventions, encouraging us to confront our preconceived notions about how interactions ‘should’ unfold.

This bold and visually striking performance utilises physical theatre and clowning techniques to create a stylised tea ritual that has to be seen to be believed.
