About Playfight Productions
Florence Hartigan is a Kiwi actor and writer, who can most recently be seen as a core cast member of Madam starring Rachel Griffiths and Martin Henderson, as well as Kid Sister and The Panthers. She has written for kids’ animated show Riddle Me This, and is currently a staff writer on New Zealand’s longest-running drama, Shortland Street. A US career highlight for Florence was starring in the 2017 feature Phoenix Forgotten, produced by Ridley Scott (Alien) as well as appearing in Comedy Central’s Bro Dependent, IFC’s Entrance, and the animated feature To Your Last Death, alongside William Shatner. During her time in Los Angeles, Florence also studied and performed at The Upright Citizen’s Brigade and The Groundlings, and wrote and performed on comedy website Funny Or Die.
