Two girls (Mel & Sam) wear black leotards, industrial-style silver jewellery (chokers and multiple earrings) and glare straight down the barrel of the camera. They are embracing one another so almost to resemble one body with two heads, have their hair styled in a 'bug-like' style with tiny plaits sprouting from the tops of their heads, have dramatic blue eyeshadow look on and enlarged 'bug' eyes.

Mel & Sam are back for TWO NIGHTS ONLY with their critically acclaimed, high energy, queer, musical comedy madness about the beauty (and horrors) of codependency. So, come along and join the multi-award-winning queer comedy duo in this side-splitting, synth-soaring selection of songs and sketches championing the one thing they love most – the unsung duos of the modern world! - for a night you’ll never forget.

You can love someone so much you think the sun shines out of their ass... but what about respecting them enough to stitch your mouth to their anus, so that they never have to call you on speed dial again – 'cos you’re just there! “Hey girl!” Where’s the cabaret about that?

Because you know Hamish & Andy. You know Thelma & Louise. But the girls are about to blow your minds with how many ass-eating duos are really out there.

With an all-original soundtrack with songs including: ‘#NotAllFlowerpotMen: Bill and Ben’s Lament’, ‘My Pussy And My Parking Tickets’, ‘Simons Says Says So Much He Gets Nodules’ and many more, this turbo-charged hour of musical madness will leave you fed, frightened and seeing double.

About Mel & Sam

Mel & Sam are an award-winning, queer, Gen-Z musical comedy duo from Naarm, known together primarily for their high octane, brilliantly chaotic and somewhat-unhinged musical comedy sketch shows which feature entirely original tracks and scores.

Their body of work includes ‘No Hat, No Play! The Cabaret’, ‘Shit-Wrecked!’, ‘High Pony’ and most recently ‘The Platonic Human Centipede’ - all of which have opened and then toured the country to sell-out crowds and critical acclaim.

The girls were signed to create a Spotify Original Podcast - ‘Mel & Sam’ - which sat at #2 on the Spotify Comedy Charts and this year were also the recipients of the APRA Musical Theatre Professional Development Award. Their other awards include a Green Room Award for 'Best Original Songs', a 'Best Cabaret' win at Adelaide Fringe, a 'Critic's Choice' win at Perth Fringe and a prestigious Golden Gibbo nomination.

Mel and Sam are known for their spiky attitude, for their ability to speak to and to truly represent a ‘Gen Z’ or ‘youth’ voice, for bridging the gap between theatre kids and people-who-would-rathr-die-than-be-called-a-theatre-kid, for their assuredness in what they can bring to the table and often also for their fierce representation of queer joy in all their work.

Their works are famously balanced with equal parts of high precision and a looseness that always allows for them to shine when ‘things go wrong.’ This bitches love to improv, love to ad lib and love to make space to let eachother shine.
