For curiosity to find... Can I leave the world behind?

Come into this deeply personal and unique experience, reflecting Nicola De Rosbo-Davies' journey as a neurodiverse actor and artist, constantly chasing her drive and searching for joy. Inspired by Nicola's work as a drama therapist and humanitarian clown, including a memorable encounter with Patch Adams who claimed he never has a bad day, "Spark" delves into the universal question: "How can we hold onto our spark, and can we hold onto it forever?"

"Spark" is a sensory-driven theatre show that takes you on a quest to capture and hold onto your inspiration and joy in life. Enter into an otherworldly dome by the Yarra river where you'll find a unique set designed to engage all your senses. Experience the feel of water, the breeze of the wind, and the warmth of a campfire. This immersive, inclusive theatre experience breaks traditional boundaries, inviting audiences on a poignant and hopeful journey.

About Nicola De Rosbo-Davies

Nicola is a passionate actor, humanitarian clown, artist, and drama therapist, who holds a Master's degree in Creative Arts Therapies from Melbourne University and a diploma in acting. With a diverse and dynamic background in the performing arts, Nicola has enjoyed acting in numerous shows, from portraying a feathered dinosaur being bullied, to a spy pretending to be dead for half the performance. Her multifaceted experience includes facilitating theatre-making for adults with intellectual disabilities, culminating in a memorable production about the sea. Another recent highlight includes humanitarian clowning alongside Patch Adams, in Costa Rica.

Deeply committed to providing accessible theatre, Nicola is passionate about combining her interest in drama therapy, acting, art and humanitarian clowning to create immersive, sensory-based theatre experiences. Alongside her theatrical endeavours, Nicola is an accomplished artist with experience in making puppets and theatrical sets. She also runs a small art business, showcasing her artistic talents beyond the stage.
