About Lauren Bok

Lauren Bok is a multifaceted performer who has been stomping on stages for over a decade. Her blend of honest, relatable and occasionally raunchy humour, hilarious physicality and rapid fire quick wit have garnered her notoriety in both the comedy and burlesque scenes in Melbourne.
Nominated for the Golden Gibbo at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2019, she has been described as 'jaw-achingly brilliant' by The Music and 'a joy to watch' by the Herald Sun.
She performs stand up comedy regularly in rooms all over Melbourne city including Comedy Republic, Local Laughs, Lido Comedy, at the Festival Club, and as one of the resident hosts of the Burlesque Showboat, delighting hen’s parties in the middle of the ocean every other Saturday night.
As a burlesque artist she has competed in the Mx Burlesque State Final Victoria and Burlesque Idol, and performed at The Lost Cabaret, Moulin Beige and Cabaret Impedimedia, bringing her cheeky, hilarious and clever approach to stripping with style to unsuspecting and underprepared audiences all over.
