This show is exactly what it says on the tin—a guided walking tour of everywhere I’ve been on a first date in Birrarung Marr. You’ll need to bring your phone and headphones to dial in to hear a journey through perfect nights and heartbreaking ghostings. Buckle up your Birkenstocks, because we’ve got a lot to get through. Led by multi-award-winning theatre-maker Ryan Hamilton, Guided Walking Tour asserts queerness’ place in the urban fabric, examining how queer people search for love and why we build our lives around romantic connection.This is a love letter to all the boys who never ended up loving me, to Narrm, the Birrarung, and the cozy corners of the city we build a life in.
