Participate in the Festival

There’s plenty of resources to help inspire and guide you through your registration, but here’s the nuts and bolts to jot down in your calendar and your balance sheet.

2022 Registration Fees

To quote dad asking for the bill in a restaurant: “So, what’s the damage?”

The 2022 Melbourne Fringe Festival registration fees will only require an upfront deposit of $95 at the time of registration. The remainder of your registration fee (if any) will come out of your ticket sales.

The full 2022 registration fee structure, inclusive of your deposit, is as follows:

Free Events

• Free events by independent artists – $95
• Free events by funded organisations – $275

Paid Events

• One-off event – $315*
• Season (2+ sessions) – $430*
• Intimate performance – $150
  • This is for in-person events that have fewer than 50 tickets available across the whole season
• Digital Events – $290

*Limited Capacity discount applicable – if your paid event has fewer than 200 tickets available across the whole season, you will receive a $100 discount off your registration fee for a one-off event or season. 

Early Bird Discount

All event registrations finalised by Thursday 9 June will receive $50 off their full registration fee (except for free events by independent artists).
