While you don’t need to put on pants or leave the house for most of this year’s Festival, some artists are putting on shows IRL and it’s very important you follow health guidelines if you’re attending. In-person events will proceed according to the Victorian Government’s COVID-19 restrictions at the time. Melbourne Fringe has worked closely with each event to develop a detailed COVID-Safe plan to ensure the safety of audiences, artists and staff. Please follow the instructions of event staff and adhere to the following principles while attending.
Do not attend if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been a close contact of a confirmed case in the past 14 days. Click here for our refunds and exchange policy. If you begin to feel unwell while at an event, contact an event staff member immediately.
Upon arrival you will be asked to provide the name and phone number of all attendees to assist with contact tracing. This is treated as confidential health data and will only be used for the purposes of contact tracing and will be deleted after 28 days.
Please adhere to physical distancing guidelines of the event and stay 1.5m away from other humans at all times.
Wash your hands after touching surfaces and apply hand sanitiser liberally.
Wear a Mask
Don’t be that person… wear a mask over your nose and mouth the whole time you are on the premises unless you have a legal reason for not doing so.
