Look down from the clouds as you soar through the sky in a da Vinci-inspired flying contraption – all without leaving the ground.

This VR headset experience lets you pilot one of four flying contraptions, transforming a regular old playground swing into an exhilarating aerial experience. Feel the flutter in your belly as your swing catches air and you glide over rugged terrain, soar as an ornithopter, or parachute slowly to earth.

Studio Go Go celebrate da Vinci’s fabulous aerial imaginings in this breath taking work that offers four utterly unique experiences of flight.

VOLO: Dreams of Flight is supported through the Melbourne City Revitalisation Fund – a $200 million partnership of the Victorian Government and the City of Melbourne.

Ticket holders may choose multiple experiences (up to four) during the time of their booked session. Pre-booked tickets are valid for the hour of their booking, and ticket holders will be given priority in the queue. Walk-up tickets are also available.

Some safety considerations:

Swings are rated to hold up to 130kg
Riders should be able to board, swing and stop without assistance *(except for accessibility swing)
Riders should be at least 128cm and 11 years or older

For health and safety riders must not:

Have a history of heart conditions or abnormal blood pressure
Have injury to their back, neck or other area that might be aggravated
Have a healing broken bone, or be wearing a cast or sling
Had recent surgery or other conditions that may be aggravated
Be pregnant
Suffer from vertigo, motion sickness or dizziness
Have a fear of enclosed spaces, heights, speed, or water
Have medical sensitivity to strobe effects
