Words... I love reading them and I love writing them. The right mix can transport us.

For my new original music show, I created a collection of songs that were inspired by words already written that resonated. Some songs are inspired by one line from a book, others are made entirely from the author’s words reimagined. The songs explore topics of imagination, climate change, social justice, mental health and how maybe if we can turn the page, we might just be able to start a new chapter.

Some of the featured books are Pride and Prejudice, We Should All Be Feminists, LOTR: Two Towers, Signs & Wonders, Anne of Green Gables and Notes on a Nervous Planet!

“Turning The Page is a show for thinkers, readers, and song lovers. Once it starts you won’t want to put it down until the end.” - Steve Davis from The Adelaide Show Podcast.

"Her heart and soul poured into the stories she wishes to unfold." - Theatre Travels (Myths, Legends & Fantasy, 2022)

This project received Cash for Equity through the Fringe Fund, as part of the Ralph Mclean Microgrants program.
