That's NOT Amore is a sentimental, nostalgic, funny and heartfelt comedy cabaret.

An exploration into the Carla's dramatic Italian heritage, her upbringing and the 'characters' that come with a big Italian family. Let's not forget, how perfectly (and imperfectly) the stereotypes and expectations apply to the eldest Italian daughter...

The traditions, dialects and value systems that have been frozen in time by the immigrants that ventured here, from across the seas. With a soundtrack that will warm your heart and tickle your tastebuds.

About Carla's Confessional Cabaret

Carla Anita Mattiazzo has been gracing the stages of the world for over 30 years. Her craft was refined both in Australia and abroad; Adelaide Conservatorium, University of South Australia, T.A.F.T.A Melbourne, The Conservatorium of Doylestown U.S.A and The University of Arts Philadelphia, U.S.A.

2010 saw the beginnings of, what would eventually be Carla’s Confessional Cabaret.
