Born to the sound of sheep in the spring of 1984, Spankie knew she was destined for more than the cow pats and Swanndris of her conservative country town. Come on a journey with Baaaza the sheep and explore the life and times of a rural teenage drag queen. From the tooth fairy as a child to the full “I Will Survive" drag show at high school. About Spankie Jackzon

Spankie Jackzon made herstory as the first drag queen to be the current reigning winner of two drag television competition franchises simultaneously. Yes, it's all about the seasons with this Queen. She first stole the hearts of audiences in 2020 by winning New Zealand's own House of Drag season 2. But that wasn't enough for this queen who once again took the crown in International RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under Season 2.

With an impressive career under her belt, including headline performances Mardi Gras Laugh Out Proud Comedy Gala, Twilight at Taronga Zoo's Drag Gala, Live Nation's DRDU Australia & New Zealand Cast Tour, Wellington International Pride, and Outfest Taranaki, to just name a few. Spankie is known her naughty but nice humor, powerful live vocals, zestful personality and her heart always guiding her. She can take an ordinary event and make it truly extraordinary!

    The entrance to the venue is on Lygon St. You can head up the front stairs and through the main doors, from there head right to get to the Loading Dock.
    If you need step free access, there is lift at the front of the building and our team will be able to guide you from there to the Loading Dock.

    Once you're in the Loading Dock you can head west down the corridor and up the stairs to Common Rooms. There is also a lift if you are unable to take the stairs.
