From his childhood obsession with Thomas the Tank Engine to becoming a volunteer at two tourist railways, comedian and singer Sam Hargreaves has been a railway enthusiast his whole life. In this new show, he talks about some of the interesting characters he's met along the way, shares some of his favourite customer service horror stories, and performs some of his favourite railway-themed songs including Morningtown Ride and Downtown Train with the help of his friend, Rebekah Bennetts.

About Sam Hargreaves

SAM HARGREAVES - WRITER & PERFORMER
Sam Hargreaves is a Melbourne-based actor, writer, theatremaker, comedian and singer. He has experience performing in comedy, drama, opera, musical theatre, children’s theatre and improvisation.
He has been a cast member in Puffing Billy Railway’s ongoing interactive shows, MURDER ON THE PUFFING BILLY EXPRESS and DAY OUT WITH THOMAS, since 2018. His self-penned one-man comedy, BILLY VS THE INTERNET, premiered as part of the 2019 Melbourne Fringe and has since played several return performances.

REBEKAH BENNETTS - MUSICAL DIRECTION & ARRANGEMENTS
Rebekah Bennetts is a Melbourne-based doctor, singer, and pianist who dabbles in operetta, musical theatre, and folk music. She has been involved with several recent Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Victoria productions, and is delighted to be helping Sam bring his comedic observations to the stage.
