Acclaimed one-liner comic, Will Crawford's latest show will traverse the surreal, absurd, cheeky, and the occasionally serious. Six months ago, local comedian Will Crawford woke up dizzy, struggling to walk and unable to see beyond five metres. Tests revealed he had MS. He had to grapple with scenarios, ranging from not being able to drive, to how to write a comedy show from his experience. Thankfully, three months later, Will started some [prescribed] uber drugs, and most of his symptoms improved. But how to write a comedy about a disability? A strangely optimistic journey through some dark times.

About Will Crawford

Will Crawford is an award-winning one liner and storytelling comedian, actor and sketch comedian based in Darwin. A strange, excitable and wildly inventive comedian with subversive hints of Dame Edna, Franky Boyle and Demetri Martin. Starting in sketch comedy, from 1998-2001 wrote and performed in multiple sketch comedy shows, and wrote for Channel 31 sketch comedy show, The Intermissionary Position. His off-beat and innovative stand up comedy has won many fans. He was a NT finalist in Raw Comedy in 2020, 2018 and 2017, winner of the Darwin Comedy Cup in 2020 and has toured his successful shows Walking the Dog; Raw, Ready and a Little Unsteady; Ebony and Ivory and Are You My Real Dad; and Rocksteady Baby acclaim to the Adelaide Fringe (2021 and 2023), Darwin Fringe (2020,21 &22) and Motley Bauhaus in Melbourne (2019).
