The image shows a woman and a young child interacting with an art installation that features hanging strings or ribbons. The child looks up in wonder, while the woman smiles, creating a warm and engaging scene. The background appears to be dimly lit, with the hanging strings creating a playful, immersive environment.

Find your reflection in puddles, arrange fuzzy felt pieces and dive into a moment of rest as you are immersed in the generosity of rain.

Take a moment to chart the seasons between you and your child. Find the weather patterns in the ever-changing dynamics of your relationship.

Since its creation at ArtPlay in 2013, RAIN has toured consistently with sold out seasons to major national and international festivals and performing arts centres. Originally created as a theatrical installation by SEAM artists Liz Francis, Nikita Hederics, Mardi Thorpe and Alicia Stafford, Drop Bear Theatre artists Carolyn Bechervaise and Sarah Lockwood and cellist Edwina Cordingley.

RAIN is produced by Threshold, a company creating experiences that invite people to connect more deeply with each other.

Please note: RAIN is a free drop-in event that takes approximately 30 minutes. If we are at capacity you may need to wait.
