With few maternal instincts to speak of, Alice's sentiments towards the idea of having children range from deep ambivalence to abject horror.

If anything, her many abandoned DIY projects and talent for falling asleep in front of the TV make being a dad seem like a better fit for her lifestyle. If motherhood looks like too much hard work, is aspiring to fatherhood more realistic?
