Explore the universe in this intimate and expansive dance-theatre odyssey. 'Only Bones – Daniel Nodder' is a physical performance masterpiece completely devoid of any spoken words but teeming with exceptionally challenging feats of dance and physical theatre. Accompanied by only a single light bulb and a mesmerising original score, this meandering venture will take audiences to the far reaches of our universe.

You’ll witness the ordinary become extraordinary, the strange become familiar, you’ll see limbs bend in ways you never thought possible and you’ll absolutely never be able to look at knees the same way again. This is 'Only Bones – Daniel Nodder'.

'Only Bones – Daniel Nodder' is the eleventh iteration of a series of solo shows grouped together under The Only Bones Project, created by world-renowned circus and physical performer, Thom Monckton. Each version must adhere to a simple set of rules: no text, no set, no props, no narrative, only one light and within one metre squared - the ultimate challenge for a skilled physical performer.

'Only Bones – Daniel Nodder' premiered in Daniel's hometown, Wellington, New Zealand at the NZ Fringe Festival in 2023. The season saw Daniel pick up a number of awards including Outstanding Solo Performance, Tour-Ready San Diego Fringe and a nomination for Best in Fringe.

This project is a Melbourne Fringe Tour Ready Award Winner.

The entrance to the venue is on Lygon St. You can head up the front stairs and through the main doors, from there head right to get to the Loading Dock.
If you need step free access, there is lift at the front of the building and our team will be able to guide you from there to the Loading Dock.

Once you're in the Loading Dock you can head straight through to the Victoria Street Building where the Meeting Room is on your left.
