Join us for an evening of entertainment, enlightenment, performance, controversy and gasbaggery from a diverse and glittering panel of some of Victoria's best female disability performers, speakers and writers.
They are busting out of the neat little box with a blue wheelchair symbol that society has squished them into and engaging in some real talk about what it's like to be a disabled woman in today's society and why you should care. They're not too shy to talk about the tricky stuff, no topic is off limits.
The disability community is not all alike and neither is our panel of speakers and performers.
We would like to invite you, the disability community and our able-bodied allies to come and celebrate that diversity with us and talk frankly for an evening.
Hosted by Emma J Hawkins and featuring panelists Michelle Roger, Sonia Marcon, Leisa Prowd, Gem Mahadeo and Claire Barnier - leave your preconceptions at the door, this panel with a difference will open your eyes and make you rethink disability.
They're charming, witty, shocking, entertaining and thoroughly fabulous – but they're not 'normal'.
Please note this event will no longer be Auslan interpreted, as previously advertised.
