We know, we don’t look a day over 20. But in 2022, Melbourne Fringe is turning the big 4-0 – and we’re going to celebrate in fierce and Fringey fashion.
Melbourne Fringe is its people: the millions of audiences, tens of thousands of artists and thousands of staff that have shaped the last four decades. So, we’re inviting you to share your most vivid Fringe memories. Remember the days of Fringe Inventions, and Not the Archibald Prize? Or when 4,500 of us got naked in the freezing cold for Spencer Tunick’s iconic photograph in 2001? Maybe you marched in the first Brunswick Street Parade in 1984, attended Fringe Fashion in 1996, or broadcast a show from your bedroom amidst a global pandemic in 2020. Whatever your story, big or small, profound or mundane, we want to hear it.
Warning: Contains some infrequent/low pressure audience interaction
