Stirring passions, twisting truths and shaking spirits, the bartender is an artful player, and the bar is his stage. With insight and charismatic charm, the modern mixologist knows not only how to prepare a cocktail, but how to carefully craft an unforgettable encounter.

Drawing from classic cinema and conversations with bartenders past and present, RARE BIRD ensemble pays tribute to one of society's unsung heroes while creating a uniquely immersive experience. A multi-sensory performance to quench thirsts for connection, community, and pleasure as it blurs the boundaries between artist and audience, public and private, fact and fiction. . .
