Guy is an avid jigsaw puzzler who has spent his entire life craving solitude. Guy has deliberately distanced himself from social connections, prioritizing his own company over that of others. However, as he nears the age of 40, he begins to yearn for companionship and realizes the significance of human connection.

A new solo theatre show from writer / performer Dylan Cole (Blank Tiles, It All Sparks Joy, Case Numbers) explores the societal expectations surrounding masculinity and the impact they can have on men's ability to forge deep, authentic relationships.

About Dylan Cole

Dylan Cole is a writer-performer-producer from Melbourne / Naarm.

Cole has been writing and performing work for over 15 years, starting his career as Runner Up of Class Clowns in 2004 & 2006. He formed award winning sketch group Wizard Sandwiches and has been performing solo work since 2012.

He is known for his unique style; a combination of theatre, comedy and fictional storytelling. His writing is often described by critics as "intelligent, witty and poignant"

Cole's 2017 work Blank Tiles, in which he played a SCRABBLE World Champion suffering from Alzheimer's disease toured internationally including Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it received multiple 5-star reviews.
His show about hoarding and grief It all sparks joy premiered in the 2019 Melbourne Fringe and went on to play at Gluttony in the 2020 Adelaide Fringe.

His last show Case Numbers nominated for Best Comedy Show at the 2020 Melbourne Fringe and performed at 2022 Adelaide Fringe and 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festivals.
