After selling out shows at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival, improviser and comedian Fiannah de Rue (The Improv Conspiracy) brings you her debut solo show It’s Not Funny.
In a whirlwind of heartfelt and hilarious story-telling inspired by the grief of losing her father at 21, Fiannah will share with you the inner workings of her mind, which she likens to that of a stoned thirteen year old boy. Discover her fascination with whales, her deeply rooted love of the classic Aussie cop drama Blue Heelers and giggle along with her at those funny little pearls you find in the dark and gloomy oyster of death. Sometimes, it is funny, and it’s okay to laugh.

Fiannah's eccentric and delightful characters and heartfelt true stories combine to make this a very funny night out." Weekend Notes "Fortunately, Fiannah de Rue’s show is funny... She’s keenly aware of her audience, but she’s also so very likeable... and with a mobile face that pulls us into her stories." Stage Whispers "As funny as it was sweetly nostalgic and touching" Squirrel Comedy "Laced with talent, warm humour, and a well judged mix of physical comic silliness and honest, real and really heart-tug moments.."
