A dazzling cabaret of queer diversity is hosted by drag king Guy Alias - all set around a delightful Tiny Tea Party! Various artists from drag, burlesque, circus, music, comedy, sideshow and more will perform their favourite acts, then join Guy for tea, cupcakes, and truth telling on their art and personal journey. As the show progresses, the party grows, and an intimate discussion of the motives, success, and failures of performing artists evolves, punctuated by acts from each new performer. Audience members are encouraged to come sit at the table to ask questions, and receive little party bags for joining in! A finale will feature a new tacky song every show, voted on by the party and crowd, silly instruments will be handed out (including Guy's infamous rubber chicken), and Guy will lead all in an unrehearsed and hilarious one-time-only band on his sticker-covered ukulele. The audience will find themselves part of the cabaret, and leave knowing they, like everyone, can be an artist, embrace nonsense, and find joy in joining in.

About Guy Alias Performance

Guy began and has produced Drag Cabaret monthly in Canberra since 2019, produced street roving experiences, rainbow story times, charity events, trivia, bingo, parties, and more - always working to bring his mix of dandy chaos and suave nonsense to those who love it around Australia. Showcasing a broad cast of queer performance art is dear to his heart, and he loves to feature both seasoned stunning performers as well as new creators who can try out new things for the kindest audiences who are often included in the fun.
