Darcy is sitting on a wooden box at a 45 degree angle to the camera. He has a precocious smile, curly hair and dark thick-rimmed glasses. He is wearing a bright orange vest over a white long-sleeve t-shirt and light blue jeans.

FLEM takes you on an offbeat trapeze across Darcy's mind during his 3pm work slump. Experience the visions of the future and alternative selves that occupy Darcy's thoughts as his body processes leftover spag bol from lunch.

In FLEM, Darcy Fleming skillfully portrays tragic characters that grapple with their calling and the work that defines them. A poet, an I.T. guy, a singer and a chef wrestle with how their life has been affected by their labour and their passion.

"Fleming is a skilled performer, melting between hyperreal sketch and absurd caricature." ☆☆☆☆ - Ryan Hamilton (Funny Tonne)

P.S. If you haven't heard of him already (there's a chance), Darcy Fleming is one of Melbourne's most exciting emerging comedians. They previously worked with sketch troupe Leaky Bucket to create absurdist sketch shows and collaborated with Ed Chalmers to create Animals with Phones (2019 Melbourne International Comedy Festival). They are the co-creator, along with Prue Blake, of the cosy cult-hit storytelling show The Night Cap. Darcy also provided additional writing for ABC's Get Krack!n.
