Almost every culture in the world has some version of a dumpling – wanton, mantu, pierogi, samosa, tortellini, empanada...
Dumplings Darling: Love Without Borders is a heartwarming performance of storytelling, love, and handmade dumplings - celebrating what brings us together and sets us apart.
This at-home adaptation (think of it as a taster of the full live show) invites you to join the dumpling revolution from the comfort of your own kitchen.
You will receive a mail-art gift with instructions and recipes to enjoy while Alisa and Ania transport you on a magical audio journey.
This is an on-demand experience which can be enjoyed at any time from 30 September to 17 October. Audiences will be invited to make their own dumplings using recipes delivered to their home address or via an online PDF.
As part of the performance, you will be invited to make your own dumplings. This is not essential to the performance experience, so if you prefer not to cook, you are still welcome to listen to the soundtrack (and even order your own dumplings in!)
This project is amplified by Melbourne Fringe as part of the Cash For Creatives Program.
