Drawn to Sound is an experiment in presenting performance and virtual reality drawing when there is no public performance or VR events in galleries with shared headsets.
The work takes the form of an augmented reality mobile app containing VR drawings and 360 videos of dance performances that audiences can physically "walk through" in their own homes using their own smart phones.
The app is available as a free download from the iOS App Store and Google Play Store, and features music by Hearts & Rockets and The Orbweavers.
The app was made possible thanks to the generous support of the City of Melbourne COVID-19 Arts Grants.
This project is amplified by Melbourne Fringe through the Ralph Mclean Microgrant program.
