In a gallery, three people gather around a display of mannequins, admiring the garments presented. A woman who wears a tan jacket can be seen pointing at a shawl, with two other women standing next to her, both showing an interest in its attire. The shawl has a pattern of earth and black that intersect like ripples.

  • Presented by: Melbourne Fringe and Linden New Art

Join a relaxed conversation with Linden New Art’s Curator and this year's Design Fringe Designers, whose work offers critical and progressive ways for us to reimagine our societies, politics and ideals.

The designers will explain how their works address the exhibition theme of speculative design, what inspires them and the materials and techniques they use. There will be plenty of opportunity for visitors to ask questions as we move through the gallery.

This event will be Auslan Interpreted on request and will require minimum 48 hours notice so we can ensure an interpreter is available. Please email projects@melbournefringe.com.au and we will be happy to provide this service.
